
In a demonstration of sustained alumni commitment to educational advancement, Christ the King College, Tiko, today, Friday 8th May 2026, formally presented a newly acquired 30-seater school bus to the Proprietor of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Buea, His Lordship Michael Bibi, Bishop of Buea. The presentation, led by the Principal of the College accompanied by a student delegation, took place at the Bishop’s House, Small Soppo. The bus was generously donated by the Christ the King College Ex-Students Association, Maryland, United States of America.

The acquisition represents a strategic investment in student welfare and institutional logistics, aimed at enhancing safe, efficient, and reliable transportation for academic and extracurricular engagements. His Lordship commended the Maryland Chapter of the Ex-Students Association for their impactful contribution and reaffirmed the Diocese’s commitment to collaborative partnerships in delivering quality Catholic education. The Principal noted that the donation will significantly strengthen operational capacity at the College and expressed appreciation to all stakeholders supporting the mission of holistic education in the Diocese of Buea.
