Affirming the Church’s mission in the digital age, His Lordship Michael Bibi, Chief Shepherd of the Diocese of Buea, visited the Directorate of Communication building on 11th May 2026, to assess the progress of the ultra-modern edifice. The structure has reached a significant milestone, with plastering of the walls now actively underway, reflecting steady and commendable progress on the project.

The new building is designed to serve as a unified hub for diocesan communication. It will house all major organs of the Directorate of Communication of the Diocese of Buea which include DMRTV, The Panorama, newspaper, the printing press, the bookshop, and the central office of the Directorate itself. By consolidating these services under one roof, the facility will foster closer collaboration among teams and raise the standard of service delivery to the faithful and the wider public.

This development stands as a clear testament to the Diocese of Buea’s commitment to evangelization through professional, modern, and effective communication. The project not only strengthens infrastructure but also reinforces the Church’s resolve to proclaim the Gospel with clarity, unity, and renewed vigor in today’s world.
