
Christians of the Diocese of Buea converged at the Divine Mercy Co-Cathedral, Molyko, this 9th day of April 2026, for the Priestly Ordination of eight deacons.

The candidates to be ordained are:

Rev. Victor Suliy BANSEKA
Rev. Evans NJUABE
Rev. Serge NGASSA
Rev. Evaristus MUKONG
Rev. Karl John KILI
Rev. Augustine EBOT
The solemn Eucharistic celebration was presided over by His Lordship Bishop Michael Bibi, Bishop of the Diocese of Buea, who will confer the Sacrament of Holy Orders on the eight men.
The occasion drawed a large turnout of priests, religious men and women, and thousands of faithful, gathered in prayer and thanksgiving for the gift of new priests to the Diocese.
Also in attendance were top administrative authorities, including the Governor of the South West Region, Bernard Okalia Bilai, the Mayor of Buea Municipality David Mafani Esq, alongside other state officials.

In his homily, the chief shephered challenged the newly ordained to be lights and living witnesses of the church in all they do. The prelate also urged the faithful to support the priest tirelessly to ensure they carry out their pastoral duties freely.
The ordination of this new priest and servants of christ vineyard, is a testament to the unity of the church in the growth of evangelization.
