In a significant gathering at the Conference Hall of the Bishop’s Residence, today march 27th 2026, Most Rev. Michael Bibi, Bishop of Buea, led a pivotal meeting with the Presbyterium, comprising all priests serving in the Diocese of Buea. The meeting focused on nurturing the spiritual, pastoral, intellectual, and human dimensions of priestly life.
Opening the session, Bishop Bibi delivered a powerful talk on “The Life of a Priest,” drawing inspiration from John 21:15-16, where Christ entrusts his disciples to “Feed My Lambs.” Reflecting on this mandate, the bishop and his priests engaged in a heartfelt dialogue, identifying challenges that hinder their spiritual and pastoral effectiveness. Together, they explored practical solutions, seeking to deepen their commitment to shepherding God’s people with love and compassion.
