Let us walk in the light of Mary’s purity and humility, allowing her example to guide our steps toward true servant leadership.”
On December 8, 2025, the Catholic University Institute of Buea (CUIB) – Douala Campus gathered to solemnly celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Eucharistic celebration, presided over by Fr. Tapang Marious, brought together faculty, staff, and students in a joyous liturgy honoring Mary, who was conceived without original sin.

In his reflection, Fr. Tapang urged the community to emulate Mary’s virtues—love, humility, and unwavering faith—inviting everyone to seek the face of God in every academic pursuit and service endeavor. The Solemnity served as a moment of deep reflection on how the example of the Immaculate Mother inspires holistic education and the formation of servant leaders at CUIB.
Through prayer, song, and fellowship, the campus reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing minds and hearts that mirror Mary’s devotion, compassion, and steadfastness in the journey of faith and learning.
