Bishop Michael Bibi Inspects New high school block project at St. Joseph’s College Sasse.
The Chief Shepherd of the Diocese of Buea and Proprietor of St. Joseph’s College Sasse, Bishop Michael Bibi, today, June 25th 2025, paid a pastoral visit to the High School block of the college currently under construction. The inspection offered him an opportunity to assess progress on the ambitious project and encourage workers, staff, and students ahead of its completion.

The three-storey edifice is designed to house classrooms for Lower and Upper Sixth Arts and Science, administrative offices, and fully equipped science laboratories. Once completed, the facility is expected to significantly improve the quality of education at Sasse by providing modern learning spaces that meet current academic standards. College authorities anticipate that the new block will enhance teaching and learning, boost student output, and ultimately improve examination results.

Construction has now reached the third and final floor, with works actively ongoing. Preparations for roofing and other final touches are underway, bringing the project closer to completion.
The visible progress signals a major milestone for St. Joseph’s College Sasse as it continues to expand infrastructure in line with its mission to deliver excellence in Catholic education.
