Continuing his pastoral visit to the United States, His Lordship Michael Bibi, the Chief Shepherd of the Diocese, celebrated Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral Charlotte on Tuesday June 17. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude as they came together to thank God for the dedicated service of Rev. Fr. Raymond Esuka, priest of the Diocese of Buea, serving in this community, and to acknowledge the support extended to him and his fellow priests in their mission in the U.S.

In addition to his visit to St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Bishop Bibi made a stop at St. Therese Parish, where Rev. Fr. Engelbert Ofon is currently serving. There, he engaged with parishioners and clergy alike, reinforcing the bonds of faith and fellowship that are essential to the church’s mission.
Bishop Michael Bibi’s pastoral tour is set to continue as he deepens his connections within the community. Today, he is expected to celebrate the Eucharist at Holy Angels Parish in Mt. Airy, where members of the congregation will have another opportunity to share in the experience of worship and community fellowship under his guidance.
