Bishop Michael Bibi Inspects Parish Stores Project at St. Martin de Porres Parish, Bokwango
As part of his pastoral responsibility and commitment to the growth and development of parishes within the Diocese of Buea, the Chief Shepherd, His Lordship Bishop Michael Bibi, today, August 10, 2026, visited St. Martin de Porres Parish, Bokwango, where he inspected the ongoing construction of the parish stores. The visit provided an opportunity for the Bishop to assess the progress of the project and gain a firsthand view of the work being carried out.

Accompanied by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Alphonse Wonghibeh, Bishop Michael Bibi toured the project site and examined the level of progress made so far. The stores are strategically located at the entrance to the parish and the wider Bokwango community, giving the project significant commercial potential once completed.

The parish stores are intended to provide suitable spaces for business activities while generating a sustainable source of revenue for the parish. The project is therefore expected to contribute to the parish’s financial sustainability and strengthen its capacity to support its pastoral and developmental activities.
