
Bishop Michael Bibi Meets Managers of Catholic Schools to Review the Academic Year and Chart the Future
Managers and Assistant Managers of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Buea are currently meeting with the Bishop of Buea, His Lordship Bishop Michael Bibi, at the Bishop Pius Awa Memorial Pastoral Centre, Buea, for their End-of-Year Meeting.

In his opening remarks, Bishop Michael Bibi has thanked the managers and assistant managers for their sacrifices, dedication, and commitment throughout the 2025/2026 academic year. He has acknowledged the vital role they play in ensuring that Catholic schools remain centres of academic excellence, moral formation, and evangelization. The Bishop has also encouraged participants to be open in sharing the challenges facing their institutions so that practical solutions can be identified collectively.

The meeting is currently receiving reports on enrolment, staffing situations, achievements, challenges, financial performance, and proposed budgets for the 2026/2027 academic year. Discussions are also focusing on strategies to strengthen and sustain quality Catholic education across the Diocese of Buea.
