On the 16th March 2026, Bishop Michael Bibi, chief shepherd of the Diocese of Buea, visited the ongoing construction of the Directorate of Communication building, REPAFIN building and the Pastoral center.
The directorate of communication project gives shape to his vision of synergy, aiming to gather all the arms of the Directorate of communication which include DMRTV (Divine Mercy Radio & Television), The Catholic Panorama, the printing press, the bookshop, and the Directorate under one roof.

The prelate of the Diocese of Buea, toured the construction works at the Diocesan pastoral centre. Intended as a welcoming base for guests and visitors to the Diocese and Buea, the complex will include modern rooms and self-contained apartments, a spacious hall for meetings and workshops, and dormitory blocks to accommodate larger groups such as youth pilgrimages and seminars. The centre upon completion, will ease hospitality costs, generate modest income for pastoral projects, and provide a quiet, well-run space for families, NGOs, parish groups and the public at large.

Planned with offices, an auditorium, studios and a chapel, the center is meant to raise the quality and reach of Catholic media in the community once completed. Co-locating resources and teams should improve efficiency, formation and a unified Gospel voice for Buea and beyond.
