
Bishop Rogan College (BIROCOL) in Buea marked the beginning of the new academic year with a solemn inaugural mass on November 9, 2025. The Eucharistic celebration, presided over by Bishop Michael Bibi, sought to invoke God’s blessings and guidance for the academic year ahead. The mass coincided with the 32nd Sunday of Ordinary Time, emphasizing themes of faith, perseverance, and renewal.
In his homily, Bishop Bibi urged minor seminarians to shun sin, crime, and anything that may hinder their vocations. He emphasized the importance of living a life of faith and integrity, and encouraged the students to remain focused on their calling.

Bishop Bibi also expressed his sincere gratitude to the vocations directors for their tireless work, noting that a record eight students have become prospective seminarians this year. He called on the staff and vocations directors to continue nurturing the minor seminarians in the faith as they grow in their discernment and studies.
