Two American-based orthopedic surgeons; Dr. Robert Wessel and Dr. Apollinaris Mbah arrived Mount Mary Hospital in Buea, on Monday 29th of January 2024 with the mission to carry out specialist consultations and operations related to bone issues.

The staff of the Hospital alongside patients, Welcomed these specialists with the conviction that while they carry out this important medical activity to treat patients of their different health conditions, God remains at the center of their work and God is the one who heals the patients.

Accompanied by the chief shepherd and Proprietor of Mount Mary Hospital, Bishop Michael Bibi, this first day of work started with prayer and meditation; a routine tradition of the hospital which gives an opportunity to workers and patients to entrust their work and health completely in God’s hands.

The orthopedic surgeons will be present at mount Mary’s hospital Buea till February 3rd 2024. During their stay Dr. Robert Wessel and Dr. Apollinaris Mbah, will carry out operations related to fractures. Congenital deformities, joint issues, as well as other general bone issues.
