The Bishop also shared the personal significance this anniversary holds for him, especially in light of a ghastly motor accident he survived in February 2025 on his return journey from Bertoua. He emphasized that this celebration is not only a time to mark milestones but also an opportunity to give thanks to God for His mercy and protection—particularly for sparing his life and that of the two others who were involved in the accident.
“This anniversary is another chance to serve God and His people under my pastoral care,” the Bishop said. “I thank Him for His mercy and grace.”
