
In a significant spiritual gathering on October 29th, 2025, over 100 pilgrims from Cameroon, led by His Grace Andrew Nkea, President of the National Episcopal Conference of Cameroon, convened in Saint Peter’s Square for a general audience with His Holiness Pope Leo XIV. The Holy Father emphasized the importance of unity and viewing every relationship as a quest for truth “The world needs a unity to achieve the peace, justice, and reconciliation we need today. Never lose hope,” he urged.

During this special audience, the Successor of Peter bestowed his apostolic blessings upon Christians, extending heartfelt blessings to children, the elderly, and the sick. The occasion marks a continuation of the general audience tradition instituted by Pope Pius XII, highlighting the enduring connection between the Vatican and the faithful around the world. The Pope also took the time to bless the children presented to him, reinforcing the Church’s commitment to nurturing the young.
