February 8th, 2024, the local ordinary of the Diocese of Buea, Bishop Michael Bibi, received New Year wishes from members of the Catholic Men Association CMA. They saluted the Bishop for his steadfastness in attending to the Spiritual and infrastructural needs of the Diocese and thanked him for his commitment in building the diocese. The CMA members reassured Bishop Bibi of their dedication and unwavering support to him as he continues to achieve the vision he has for the Diocese. In line with recognizing the tremendous transformations made by the Bishop in the diocese, the fathers of the church handed a certificate of appreciation to Bishop Michael Bibi, while telling him” Do not worry about distractors, for we are behind you”!

Representing the entire CMA population of the Diocese of Buea, the executive members led by the diocesan president Mr. Ngah Eric while reading their letter of appreciation to the Bishop on this occasion, dis-associated themselves from what they described as evil actions by those who want to destroy the church.
“We are fully aware of the plans of the distractors of the Diocese in bringing your leadership down and to misguide the people of God in the Diocese. The Catholic Men Association strongly disassociates itself with this group of persons.”

In response to these committed group of persons, Bishop Michael Bibi expressed sentiments of gratitude for such an honour stating that the certificate of appreciation is a sign that he should not relent but focus on his mission in building God’s church.
