On Friday, October 24th, 2025, students, alumni, staff, and well-wishers of Saint John Paul II Institute of Theology (JOPASIT) gathered at the institution’s campus to celebrate the official opening of the school year and the feast of their patron, Saint John Paul II.
The day began with a solemn Eucharistic celebration, marking a spiritual start to the academic year. The event served to commit the new school year to God, officially welcome new students, and honor the legacy of Saint John Paul II.

PRIEST AND RELIGIOUS DURING THE JOPASIT MASS
In his address, the rector, Rev. Fr. James Ajombu, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the priests, lecturers, students—past and present—and all those who have consistently supported JOPASIT’s mission of deepening the knowledge of God’s Word and Church doctrine.
He further called on Christians yet to experience theological formation to consider enrolling, highlighting JOPASIT’s role in building a deeper understanding of theology, philosophy, and the Catholic faith.
