G2G Cameroon, a Humanitarian Organization endorsed by the United Nations CISRI, has celebrated and honored Bishop Michael Bibi, Bishop of the Diocese of Buea, with a Humanitarian Medal and other Accolades for being steadfast and courageous in carrying out his duties as Chief Shepherd which go a long way to contribute to the growth of Cameroon.
The event which took place on Friday 5th of April 2024 at the Bishop’s Conference Hall in Small Soppo, Buea aimed to celebrate and pay tribute to nation builders of competence for a job well done in their respective domains.
Representing G2G Cameroon, the Director Chief Thomas A. Fotang appreciated his Excellency Michael Bibi for his timely transformation in the diocese of Buea within a short period of time which has brought joy to many within and out of the country.” Many years of hard work to serve humanity is worth celebrating. It is good to celebrate people while they are alive for a job well done, other than decorating caskets when they are no longer with us”, chief Thomas articulated.
Paying tribute to Bishop Michael Bibi as an outstanding generational thinker, the prelate was honored with a prestigious goal medal as an agent of change, a necklace band as a symbol of greatness, an award distinguishing him as a courageous personality and a certificate endorsed by the United Nations CISRI Cameroon.
Responding to this honor and gesture, His Lordship Michael Bibi expressed sentiments of gratitude to G2G Cameroon, while extending appreciation to his priests, collaborators and Christians whom he noted are the forces behind the success stories recorded in the diocese of Buea.
He applauded G2G for celebrating people when they are still alive saying that it serves as a source of encouragement to them . He equally appreciated them for reaching out to the less privileged and vulnerable groups of persons in the society.
It is worth noting that throughout the over eight years of existence of G2G Cameroon, the humanitarian organization empowers over 500 IDPs, Orphans , widows and the vulnerable annually.
