Representing the voices of over 20,000 members of the Catholic Women Association in the Country, the national executives of the Catholic Women Association , resonated New year wishes and words of appreciation to the chief shepherd of the diocese of Buea Bishop Michael Bibi for his support towards the growth of this association in his Diocese and in the country at large. Meeting at the Bishop’s house this 8th day of March 2024, the women in the spirit of celebrating the international day of the woman, prayed for strength on the Local Ordinary, telling him “ We are behind you with all our Hearts.

Speaking on behalf of the executives, the National President; Mami Judith Jato while commending the visible achievements of the local ordinary in the diocese, officially discussed with the Bishop about two significant forthcoming events that will take place in the Diocese of Buea.
New Year wishes by National executives of CWA
The CWA mothers shall on the 24th of July 2024 celebrate their Diamond Jubilee under the theme : “CWA Women at 60: Mothers of the Church and Mothers of the World”. This celebration which shall be officiated by the Apostolic Nuncio to Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea Archbishop José Avelino Bettencourt will take place at the Divine Mercy Co-cathedral at 9.am.
Bishop Bibi Blesses Members
They equally discussed with the prelate about their national congress which will run from the 25th to the 28th of July at the campus of Bishop Rogan College.
Bishop Michael Bibi, after listening to the mothers , gave his words to them, reassuring them of his openness in supporting these ventures and for seeing into the overall success of the activities. He lauded their New year Wishes initiative and wished them better moments as the prepare for these great events.
