Providing a safe and conducive living environment for students of the Catholic University Institute of Buea CUIB has been one of the concerns of the Bishop of Buea and Chancellor of CUIB His Lordship Michael Bibi. The Chief Shepherd lately, took on another significant project in the Diocese of Buea to construct 54 rooms housed in two giant buildings at the Saints Peter and Paul University Parish, in Buea.
CUIB Hostel underway
Visiting the site on Saturday February 15, 2025, the Local Ordinary and the Assistant Diocesan Project Director Rev Fr. Paschal Siben, who is in charge of this CUIB Hostel project, moved around the different sections, appreciating the level of achievement this far.
Bishop Bibi vits project
According to Rev. Fr. Paschal Siben, this structure already plastered is envisaged for completion by March 2025.
CUIB Hostel
Though the priority is to serve students of the Catholic University Institute of Buea with topnotch facilities and security, the CUIB Hostel would also be open to other students of the municipality of Buea.
