Construction work for the second phase of the Bishop Pius Awah Memorial Pastoral Center is proceeding according to plan, with workers now engaged in plastering the ground floor of the second building located few kilometers behind the co-cathedral in Molyko, Buea.
The four-floor structure, mirroring the first building, is set to include 42 modern rooms, 6 suites, and two halls.
The project is rapidly developing, and the roofing of the building is anticipated to be completed by the end of March. During a visit to the construction site on Monday, January 15th, 2024, His Lordship Michael Bibi, Bishop of the Diocese of Buea personally inspected the progress of the work, gaining a firsthand appraisal.
This site visit follows closely on the heels of Bishop Bibi’s weeklong attendance at the 47th annual conference of Cameroon Bishops in the Diocese of Maroua-Mokolo, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to overseeing significant projects within the Diocese of Buea.
