In a remarkable continuing effort to support Our Lady of Sorrows Parish in Sandpit, the Claretian Missionaries have initiated the construction of a borehole equipped with tanks. This initiative follows their previous generous donation of a solar power system that illuminated the parish, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to the parish community.

The borehole project is particularly significant as it addresses the persistent issue of water scarcity affecting the parish. With the solar power system already operational, it is expected to provide the necessary energy to power the borehole, ensuring a sustainable supply of water for the faithful and local residents.

The inauguration of this vital project is set for June 21, coinciding with the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This day holds great importance for the “Sons of the Immaculate Heart” (Claretian Missionaries) and will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish .
The borehole project symbolizes hope and renewal for the community, offering them the blessings of clean water and a brighter future, which are indispensable for nurturing both the physical and spiritual growth of the parishioners
