On November 3rd, 2025, the Christian faithful of Regina Pacis Cathedral, Small Soppo–Buea, gathered in solemnity to commemorate the Feast of All Souls. The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by His Lordship, Bishop Michael Bibi, Chief Shepherd of the Diocese of Buea.
In his homily, the bishop reminded the faithful that the Holy Mass is the greatest prayer we can offer for the souls of the departed. On this special day set aside by the Church to pray for the dead, he emphasized the importance of interceding for the souls in purgatory—the suffering Church—so that they may share in the glory of the triumphant Church in heaven.
Bishop Bibi further noted that in celebrating the Eucharist, the pilgrim Church on earth is united with both the suffering and the triumphant Church, forming a powerful bond of communion in prayer and hope.

He also invited the faithful to reflect on the fleeting nature of earthly life and to anchor their lives on Christ, the solid rock. The day, he said, serves as a call to conversion, urging everyone to retrace their steps and let go of worldly distractions that derail the journey to holiness.
: The bishop concluded by reiterating that offering the Holy Mass for the departed is not only an act of love but also a spiritual gift that transcends time and space, hastening their journey into eternal rest.
