
On March 22, 2025, members of the Catholic Men Association gathered in the conference hall of the CMA National Secretariat in the Diocese of Buea to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the diocese. The Eucharistic celebration, officiated by His Lordship Michael Bibi, included the dedication of 108 men to the Catholic Men Association of the Diocese of Buea.

This Pontifical Mass coincided with the feast of Saint Joseph, a figure honored for his fidelity and obedience.

During his address, Bishop Michael Bibi highlighted the virtue of obedience, urging members to remain respectful of the management structures in place to oversee the affairs of the association. He encouraged them to be exemplary figures in their families—the domestic church—serving the association with humility and unity.

As the members celebrated the diocese’s milestone, Bishop Bibi reminded them of their responsibility to spread the word of God. He referenced the Catechism of the Catholic Church, paragraph 864, emphasizing that Jesus must be at the center of their mission.
