The construction works at the Bishop Pius Awa Memorial Pastoral Center have taken off in full gear after a short-term break by the Local Ordinary His Lordship Michael Bibi, which gave room for the smooth hosting of the 48th Annual Seminar of the Bishops of Cameroon, at the Pastoral Center.
After the successful event, the Chief Shepherd has gone back to his routine activity of building the diocese and giving it the look of 75years as the mother diocese in Cameroon which celebrates its anniversary on the 7th of May 2025.
Sand, gravel, cement, rods and a host of other building materials can be seen at the construction site and the workers including builders, molders, and iron benders have all taken up their duties .
The pillars of the last floor of Block C; the third giant structure of the Center, are currently being raised ahead of the building of the walls and roofing of the structure.
Work has equally resumed at the building housing the conference hall of the center and this structure is being prepared for the second decking.
Being a center which houses pastoral events of the diocese and other events the Chief Shepherd has made it a priority to set up nothing that falls short of standards.
