
In a momentous occasion for the Buea Diocese, His Holiness Pope Francis has appointed six Monsignors at the request of His Lordship Bishop Michael Bibi. The newly appointed Monsignors are: Mgr. The announcement was made on March 29, 2025, during the Buea Deanery celebration of the Diocese’s 75th anniversary, held at Regina Pacis Cathedral in Small Soppo. The title of Monsignor is an honorary title in the Catholic Church, typically granted to priests who have distinguished themselves in their service or contributed significantly to the Church’s mission.
