On Saturday, July 19, Bishop Michael Bibi joined the over 800 youth in a touching Eucharistic celebration in St. Joseph College Sasse marking the 2025 Diocesan Youth Week/Youth Camp. Celebrated under the theme “Walking with Christ: A Journey of Faith and Hope,” the camp has been filled with an engaging lineup of activities, including Bible quizzes, choral music performances, traditional dances, drama presentations, and even a fashion parade, all aimed at enriching the spiritual lives of the youth.

During the Eucharistic celebration, the Local Ordinary encouraged the youth to embrace discipline and steer clear of negative influences such as drugs, scams, and promiscuity. “Have faith and hope in God. Be disciplined and be servant leaders. In a society filled with challenges, you must be conscious of the temptations that can jeopardize your future,” he urged. He reiterated the importance of loving God and maintaining a strong relationship with Him, reflecting on the teachings of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which emphasizes the Eucharist as central to the Christian life.
