The one time dying technical Centre of the Diocese of Buea based in Mutengene, is being recovered as the local ordinary takes on a mission to equip this Centre with expert workers and machines necessary for the provision of quality services to the church and the community at large.
Visiting the Centre this 24th day of October 2024, Bishop Michael Bibi made it clear to the managers of the different sectors that there is no room for compromise on the provision of quality and instructed them to put in professionalism in all what they do and to produce best results.
The Buea Diocesan Catholic Mission Technical Centre is made up of a garage, woodwork and welding departments.
The manager of the garage Br. Paul, while saluting the Bishop for taking this step to bring back the Centre to life, assured the priests and Christians that the Centre is well equipped to provide quality services to them and that their doors are open at all times.
Br. Ewane, manager of the welding and woodwork department noted that the Centre is currently busy with much work given to them by the Local Ordinary including the fence of the Divine Mercy Co-cathedral and other works at the Pastoral Centre and some schools in the Diocese.
The Catholic Mission Technical Centre it should be noted is open to all who seek services in their domain.
