Cameroon Bishops are in Maroua for the 2024 annual National Episcopal Conference of Cameroon ; a seminar meant for the Bishops to meet and discuss issues related to the evangelization of the church in the country.

The Bishop of Maroua- Mokolo; His Lordship Bruno ATEBA EDO, together with his flock, gathered in delight on Saturday, January 6, at the Maroua Airport where they received brother Bishops for the 47th annual assembly.

Upholding their fraternity, the prelates convened at the Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral for an opening mass, on Sunday the 7th of January 2024, officiated by the host Bishop , who welcomed his brother Bishops while praying for a successful meeting.

The Eucharistic celebration was heavily attended by government officials, including the Governor of the Far North Region, His Excellency Midjiyawa Bakari amongst other dignitaries.
