Meanwhile, educational institutions were encouraged to institute special programmes that provide sensitisation and psychosocial support to the youths. One their part, young people were also advised to reject every inducement to these deleterious practices and respond “to the call to become the evangelizers of their peers. No one can do this better than they, the bishops wrote.”
Meantime, all the Youth Ministries in the five dioceses that make up the Bamenda Ecclesiastical Province were tasked to intensify catechesis and pastoral care of young people.
