In line with the Diocese of Buea’s mission to deepen evangelization and spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth, Bishop Michael Bibi is spearheading the construction of a state-of-the-art Directorate of Communication building. On Tuesday, October 14th, 2025, the Bishop paid a visit to the construction site to assess the progress of the work.
The foundation has been completed, and construction has now advanced to the active phase of wall elevation and concreting of pillars, with workers fully engaged to maintain steady progress.
WORKERS CONCRETING PILLARS
Once completed, the facility will centralize all the diocesan communication services under one roof. It will host the Printing Press, Diocesan Bookshop, Divine Mercy Radio and Television (DMRTV), and the Directorate of Communication itself. The multi-purpose structure will feature office spaces, a TV studio, conference rooms, an auditorium, and a chapel , all aimed at enhancing service delivery, creativity, and evangelization efforts.
