
The Divine Mercy Co-Cathedral in Molyko-Buea is getting a transformation as the staff ceiling work is completed and over 60% of the lambri installation is finished.

This project will not only enhance the cathedral’s aesthetic appeal but also create a more prayer-conducive environment by minimizing noise echoes from heavy rainfall.

On March 21, 2025, His Lordship Michael Bibi, alongside Diocesan contractor Mr. Avic Anye and Deputy Director of Projects Fr. Siben, visited the site to observe the progress. The workers are on the ground to ensure that this project is completed within few weeks .

Pleased with the achievements this far, Bishop Bibi and his team also stopped at the Bishop Pius Awa Memorial Pastoral Centre, where a massive three-story building is currently being roofed, with plans for completion in the upcoming months.

visit to CMA National Secretariat
The team also made a brief stop at the CMA National Secretariat building where the members of the Catholic Men Association in the Diocese, will convene on Saturday March 22nd 2025 for a Pontifical Mass with His Lordship Michael Bibi to mark the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Diocese of Buea by CMA members, and the dedication of new members.
