The Bishop of the Diocese of Buea, His Lordship Michael Bib, recently embarked on a visit to oversee the construction progress at both the Divine Mercy Co-Cathedral in Molyko, Buea, and the ongoing developments at the Bishop Pius Awa Memorial Center.
Fresh from a Diocesan pilgrimage to the Vatican, His Lordship was accompanied by priests who are esteemed members of the College of Consultors in the Diocese of Buea.
Their first stop was at the Divine Mercy Co-Cathedral, where work is progressing at an impressive pace. Here, the Bishop and the College of Consultors had the opportunity to explore the rapidly transforming interior of this magnificent structure.
Following this, the delegation proceeded to inspect the recently installed sound system within the Co-Cathedral, before descending to the basement to assess the tiling progress of basement halls, offices, toilets, and other essential facilities.
Subsequently, the Bishop and his delegation visited the Bishop Pius Awa Memorial Pastoral Center, where they examined the ongoing works. They were pleased to find the 1500-capacity ultra-modern hall already at the roofing stage, while construction workers diligently raced to complete the second building intended to house the pastoral center within the agreed deadline.
Upon completion of their thorough inspections, the Bishop and the College of Consultors departed the sites visibly satisfied, having exchanged brief conversations with the workers about the progress of their work.
