Bamenda Ecclesiastical Province Celebrates 25th Anniversary of the Provincial Pastoral Plan
Buea, July 24th, 2024 – Bishops, priests, religious, and lay faithful of the Bamenda Ecclesiastical Province gathered today at Bishop Rogan Minor Seminary, Small Soppo, for the second and final day of celebrations marking the 25th Anniversary of the Bamenda Ecclesiastical Provincial Pastoral Plan.

The day began with a high pontifical Holy Mass at Regina Pacis Cathedral, Small Soppo presided over by Archbishop Andrew Nkea, Archbishop of Bamenda.
In his homily, the Local Ordinary of Buea Diocese, Bishop Michael Bibi, exhorted Christians to serve wholeheartedly in the activities of the Church, stressing that their labor is for the Lord and not for man—and that only from Him will their true reward come. The Bishop also expressed profound gratitude to all the faithful, clergy, and institutions whose tireless efforts laid the foundation for the Provincial Pastoral Plan.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the presentation of award certificates to the executives of the Bamenda Ecclesiastical Provincial Plan. The awards, handed over by His Grace, Archbishop Andrew Nkea, served as a token of appreciation for their dedication and also as a formal commissioning to continue their mission of evangelization through service.
