
Christians, Traditional Authorities, and Pupils from St. Mary Catholic Nursery and Primary School in Sasse warmly welcomed the Apostolic Nuncio to Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea at Regina Pacis Cathedral in Small Soppo.

The traditional leaders expressed their delight in hosting the Nuncio and shared their satisfaction with the Fifth Residential Bishop, His Lordship Michael Bibi, presenting memorable gifts to the Nuncio in appreciation.

Following his visit to the Cathedral, the Nuncio, guided by Bishop Michael Bibi, made a stop at the Bishop Rogan Minor Seminary, established in 1964. He received a warm welcome from the rector, Rev. Fr. Jude Visoh, staff, and students. During his visit, the Nuncio imparted Apostolic blessings and encouraged the students to embody love and the consciousness of God, urging them to offer themselves as sacrifices to become their best selves.

The Nuncio also visited St. Joseph College Sasse, the first secondary school in Cameroon, where he was graciously received by Principal Rev. Fr. Jude Njanto, staff, and enthusiastic students. while at Sasse, he encouraged students to be committed to their studies while assuring them of God’s blessings.

His final stop was at the Carmelite Monastery in Sasse, where he had the opportunity to pray with the reverend sisters, as the Diocese celebrates its 75th anniversary.
These significant visits took place on May 6, 2025, in anticipation of the Nuncio presiding over the main celebration at the Divine Mercy Co-Cathedral on May 7.
