The session aimed to tackle biblical misinterpretation and heresy, providing a platform for spiritual growth and enlightenment. Prince Elumba stressed that the Bible isn’t a science textbook, cautioning against reading it through a purely scientific lens. He emphasized the importance of understanding the Bible’s uniqueness and literal meaning.

He further warned against cherry-picking verses to justify personal thoughts or actions. He noted that scripture must be understood within its original context, taking into account the historical, cultural, and literary background. This approach helps Christians avoid misinterpretation and grasp the intended message.

Titled “How Not to Interpret the Bible,” the session equipped Christians with tools to accurately understand Scripture and identify false teachings . With the Christian community facing numerous challenges, these teachings aim to inspire, educate, and foster a stronger faith community.
