Ms. Honorine emphasized that while the digital landscape is shifting, the foundational truth of the Church remains constant. “The message doesn’t change, but the tools do,” she noted, reminding participants that technology is a bridge designed to support, not replace, the core mission of the Church.
The presentation highlighted the undeniable benefits of AI in a modern ecclesiastical context, including Speed and Efficiency ,Enhanced Connection, and reduced Administrative Burden.

However, the session was not without a strong word of caution. Ms. Honorine addressed the complexities of AI, citing risks such as potential job displacement, ethical dilemmas, privacy concerns, and the danger of over-dependence.
She urged communicators to maintain a high level of ethical responsibility, particularly regarding the handling of sensitive information. The assembly was warned against the “blind adoption” of technology, with a firm reminder that AI must always be guided by human judgment.
Ms. Honorine concluded with a powerful directive for the delegates: “Do not fear AI, but do not blindly adopt it. Keep AI at the heart of the mission, noting that it is a servant, not a master.”
