Bishop Michael Bibi Braves Heavy Rains to Begin Two-Day Pastoral Visit to St. Andrew Parish, Muea
Despite heavy rains and challenging weather conditions, the Local Ordinary of the Diocese of Buea, His Lordship Bishop Michael Bibi, on Saturday, August 29, 2026, began a two-day pastoral visit to St. Andrew Parish, Muea, Buea.

The pastoral visit took the Bishop to the seven mission stations that make up the parish: Mount Carmel Mission Station, Muea; St. John Paul II Ewili; St. Francis Wonya-Mukumba; St. Patrick Liongo; St. Joseph Maumu; St. Paul, Lysoka; and St. Theress Bwiteva Mission Station.

Braving the heavy rains and muddy terrain, Bishop Michael Bibi visited each mission station, where he interacted with the faithful, listened to their concerns and challenges, prayed with them, and offered pastoral encouragement and assurance.
The visit provided an opportunity for the Bishop to strengthen his communion with the faithful, gain firsthand knowledge of the realities facing the various mission stations, and encourage them to remain steadfast in faith despite the challenges confronting their communities.
