Today June 8, 2026, the Chief Shepherd of the Diocese of Buea, Bishop Michael Bibi, paid a visit to the construction site of the Diocese of Buea Directorate of Communication building. The purpose of the prelate’s visit was twofold: to boost the morale of the team and to personally assess the progress of the ongoing three-story structure. The building has visibly reached the critical stage of flooring and tiling, with workers on-site putting in the necessary effort to ensure its timely completion.

Once finished, the landmark facility will serve as the centralized hub for the various media and communication arms of the diocese. It is designed to house the Divine Mercy Radio and Television (DMRTV), the Cameroon Panorama , the diocesan bookshop, the printing press, and the central office of the Directorate of Communication itself.

By bringing these distinct departments under one roof, the project aims to foster a powerful sense of synergy among the staff. This strategic consolidation will streamline daily operations, encourage closer collaboration, and ultimately deliver better and more impactful output for the communication ministry of the Diocese of Buea.
