Mount Mary Hospital Elevates Surgical Care with State-of-the-Art Equipment Upgrades
BUEA – In a significant boost to healthcare delivery in the Southwest Region, Mount Mary Hospital has officially commissioned a suite of advanced medical equipment. The arrival and successful installation of a new anesthetic machine and an ultra-modern patient monitor mark a major milestone in the facility’s mission to provide top-tier clinical services.
The equipment arrived on December 31st and, following a meticulous setup process, was fully installed and cleared for surgical use today.
Advancing Surgical Safety and Precision
The newly integrated technology brings a higher standard of safety to the hospital’s operating theaters. The new anesthetic machine is engineered to deliver precise, controlled anesthesia, supporting both minor and major surgeries with enhanced safety protocols.
In addition, the ultra-modern patient monitor allows for continuous tracking of vital signs—including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation (SpO_2), respiratory rate, and ECG—ensuring surgical teams can make informed, real-time clinical decisions.
Commitment to Excellence
Hospital administrators noted that the transition to the new systems has been seamless. Every component underwent rigorous assembly, calibration, and testing. Post-installation checks confirmed that both devices are performing at optimal capacity.
