In anticipation of the World Day of catholic Schools scheduled for December 3rd, 2025, Catholic institutions within the Buea Zone gathered on the 22nd of November 2025, at Bishop Rogan Minor Seminary for a day of sports and socio-cultural competition. This vibrant event, held under the theme “Catholic Schools: Forming Hearts for Communion, Participation, and Mission”, brought together students in a spirit of unity, recreation, and faith-driven camaraderie.
CATHOLIC SCHOOLS PARTICIPATING IN SOCIO-CULTURAL ACTIVITIES.
The event served as a platform for schools to showcase talent and teamwork through football, basketball, volleyball, traditional dance, and choral music. Participating schools included Bishop Rogan Minor Seminary, St. Joseph’s College Sasse, Jules Peters Memorial College, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Our Lady of Grace College Muyuka, and CUIB Entrepreneurial Academy.
The Diocesan Sports Coordinating Committee is expected to meet in the coming days to evaluate performances. Winners will be formally recognized at the grand celebration of the Catholic World Day of Schools at the Divine Mercy Co-Cathedral, Molyko.
