Called to serve like Melchizedek of old, priests of the Diocese of Buea with less than five years of ministry gathered on Thursday 23th to Friday 24th October 2025, for a two-day ongoing formation session at the Bishop Pius Awa Memorial Pastoral Centre, molyko .
The ongoing formation was aimed at helping young priests reconnect with their original call to serve God, reflect on their journey, and rekindle their spiritual zeal. It also provided guidance on tackling pastoral challenges, drawing wisdom from senior clergy, and adapting effectively to the demands of ministry in today’s digital age.

A key highlight was a deeply encouraging message from Monsignor Jude Mbi, whose life of service remains a model of priestly dedication, Fr Emmanuel Epie the diocesan liturgist and Master of ceremonies, Fr Joseph Ngome Rector of Bishop Rogan minor seminary and many others.
The session concluded with the young priests leaving renewed, spiritually strengthened, and committed more to faithful service to God and His people.
