In a continued show of commitment to Catholic education, Bishop Michael Bibi, Local Ordinary of the Diocese of Buea, made a working visit to Saint Joseph’s College Sasse on Tuesday, August 14, 2025.
The visit focused on inspecting the progress of the construction of a new high school block, a project aimed at expanding the school’s academic infrastructure and strengthening its tradition of excellence.
Workers are actively involved in constructing the foundation, casting pillars, and clearing trees, while caterpillars bulldoze through the rocky terrain to pave the way for the smooth progress of work.

Once completed, the new high school block is expected to boost the academic experience at SJC Sasse. It will provide additional classrooms, thereby increasing the school’s capacity to accommodate more students and enhancing learning conditions. This development aligns with the school’s long-standing reputation for academic excellence and will contribute positively to performance outcomes and overall enrollment.
This visit reflects the Diocese’s continuous efforts to support and expand Catholic education, ensuring that institutions like SJC Sasse remain beacons of learning, discipline, and faith.
