Buea, September 24, 2025 – The Bishop of the Diocese of Buea, His Lordship Michael Miabesue Bibi, has reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the Church’s communication and educational mission through the construction of a modern Diocesan Communication Complex, which is already underway.
The facility, now under construction, will house DMR TV, the Directorate of Communication, the Printing Press, the Catholic Bookshop, Cameroon Panorama, and the Catholic Education Secretariat.

On September 24, 2025, Bishop Bibi convened a meeting with staff from all communication arms, the Education Secretariat, the Diocesan Project Office, and other stakeholders. The session took place on the uncompleted ground floor of the Communication Complex building, giving participants a firsthand feel of the project’s progress.
During the meeting, the Diocesan Architect presented the building plan, and participants contributed ideas to enrich the design. Bishop Bibi stressed that it was crucial to get input from the future occupants of the building before handing the project to studio experts who will refine the final designs, especially for the studios and technical compactness of the structure.

“It is important to hear from those who will use these offices daily. Their input will guide the experts in refining the final studio designs and ensuring the building meets the highest standards,” the Bishop said.
The Communication Complex, once completed, will not only centralize the Diocese’s communication efforts but also provide a modern hub for evangelization, information dissemination, and education.
