Bishop Bibi Allocates New Office Space for Catholic Women Association at Co-Cathedral
On July 10, 2025, Bishop Michael Bibi, the Bishop of Buea, designated a new office accommodation for the Catholic Women Association (CWA) in the basement of the Divine Mercy Co-Cathedral.

BISHOP AND REPRESENTATIVES FROM THE CATHOLIC WOMEN ASSOCIATION
Accompanied by Father Michael Mbuwir, Chancellor of the diocese, and Father Pascal Siben, Assistant Project Director, Bishop Bibi toured the new office space, which will serve as a vital resource for the women and mothers of the diocese.
The new office will provide opportunities for the CWA to use the chapel for recollection, serve as a storage unit for Catholic women’s articles, and function as a venue for Exco meetings and communication purposes. Additionally, it will serve as a library, archive, and reference point for all CWA-related information.
Expressing her heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the Catholic women, Madam Christancia Enobi, President of the Buea chapter of CWA, conveyed her joy and enthusiasm for the new office space.
Following the inspection of the CWA office, Bishop Bibi and his collaborators visited the ongoing CWA hostel project, fully funded by the mothers. The project aims to generate income to support their activities through rental income. With several rooms and studios already in use, another section of the hostel is currently under construction.
