A significant new project has taken shape in the Diocese of Buea: the construction of the Directorate of Communication building, strategically located near the current DMRTV premises. On the afternoon of Monday, July 7th, 2025, Bishop Michael Bibi conducted an inspection visit to the construction site, emphasizing the importance of this development for the diocese.

This new facility is designed to accommodate the various branches of the Directorate of Communication within the Diocese of Buea, including the Catholic Printing Press, DMRTV, Cameroon Panorama, and the Catholic bookshop. About 90% of the foundation of the structure has already been realized, and dedicated workers are actively engaged in advancing the construction.

Once finished, this state-of-the-art building will not only provide an efficient and conducive work environment for the staff members involved in the Communication sector of the Diocese but also significantly improve the ability to connect in real-time with clients, parishioners, and other stakeholders. By fostering collaboration and enhancing communication capabilities, the new Directorate of Communication building aims to further the diocese’s commitment to spreading the message of faith and engaging with the broader community.
