In a significant gesture of support, the Claretian Missionaries have donated a solar power system to Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, marking its maiden installation. The solar system, which boasts a capacity of 21KWh and is valued at 6 million francs, aims to enhance the parish’s energy sustainability and reduce reliance on conventional power sources.

Solar System Installed
Members of the parish community expressed profound gratitude to Reverend Fr. Jude Thaddeus, the superior general of the Claretian Missionaries, as well as the generous benefactors who made this donation possible. The community also acknowledged the role of His Lordship Michael Bibi, Bishop of Buea, for his support in sending the Claretian Missionaries to guide them in their spiritual journey.
This installation is not only a step towards renewable energy but also a testament to the Claretian Missionaries’ commitment to serving the community and fostering a sustainable future. Parishioners are hopeful that the new solar system will enable them to carry out their activities more efficiently, allowing them to focus on their spiritual growth and community service
