
Buea, February 2nd, 2025 – The Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, Mamouna Fotso, joined His Lordship Michael Bibi, Bishop of Buea, to preside over the closing ceremony of the one-week entrepreneurial and academic fair organized by the Catholic University Institute of Buea (CUIB).

The annual fair at CUIB serves as a unique platform for students of the entrepreneurial university to gain real-life experience in the business world. It provides an opportunity for students to showcase their innovations and academic achievements, as well as learn how to attract customers and compete in the marketplace of ideas and business.

During his visit to various stands, the Minister of Youth Affairs was impressed with the diverse hands-on projects displayed by students. He also took time to tour the CUIB Cyber Laboratory, where she commended the university’s high-quality training programs.
Minister Mamouna Fotso congratulated the university for its dedication to training the next generation of leaders and innovators in Cameroon. He assured the students of his ministry’s support in helping them achieve their goals.

The ceremony also featured the presentation of awards to meritorious individuals in recognition of their contributions to the success of the fair.
The minister was accompanied by a host of dignitaries, including Southwest Governor Bernard Okalia Bilai, Senator for Buea Mbella Moki Charles, Member of Parliament for Buea Urban Hon. Malomba, and Divisional Officer of Buea Abduraman, among others.
