The Dean of Limbe Deanery Rev. Fr. James Chikezie, on behalf of Christian populace of this Deanery, has saluted Bishop Michael Bibi for acting by the truth and has reassured him of the total support of Limbe Deanery as the Diocese celebrates 75 years: “The truth is not determined by the number of persons. The truth is what is, and we use this event to recognize the truth in Buea Diocese . We are behind you as our Chief Shepherd and guard as you lead us in the truth”; the Dean stated. This was during a Eucharistic celebration officiated by His Lordship Michael Bibi in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Diocese celebrated at the level of Limbe Deanery on Saturday October 5th, 2024 at Holy Family Parish, New Town Limbe.

Bishop Bibi during this celebration, prayed and thanked God for all His marvels in the Deanery and the Diocese over the past years. He praised the efforts of the priests of this Deanery and encouraged Christians to support their priests as they exercise their ministry.
He further called on the faithful to continue to desire God and reminded them of the missionary mandate given by Christ to His disciples to Proclaim the Gospel to all.

Addressing Faithful during the celebration, the president Limbe Deanery; Madam Vera, saluted the Chief custodian for His resilience and thanked God for the growth of the Deanery which has a Christian population of over 7291 Christians spread over 5 different parishes.
The celebration closed with animations leaving the Faithful in joy and the spirit of celebration as they look forward to the peak celebration on the 7th of May 2025
