Buea, May 15, 2024 – His Lordship Michael Bibi, Bishop of the Diocese of Buea, paid a visit today to the Divine Mercy Co-Cathedral in Molyko, Buea, to personally inspect the ongoing construction and renovation works. This visit comes just days after his previous inspection tour of the co-cathedral and several diocesan projects, alongside members of the College of Consultors, highlighting his dedication to ensuring the smooth progression of these works.
During his visit to the co-cathedral, Bishop Bibi supervised the painting of the walls, the manufacturing of additional benches, and the work being done in the basement of the grand cathedral building. His presence underscored his commitment to maintaining high standards and ensuring that the project progresses without any hitches.
Simultaneously, technicians were busy roofing the 1,500-seat ultra-modern event hall at the Bishop Pius Awa Memorial Pastoral Center. The center has been transformed into a bustling construction site, with workers diligently installing balconies on the second building that houses the pastoral center. Inside, other teams were focused on the finishing touches, all racing to meet the project deadlines.
The Bishop’s active involvement and frequent site visits are a testament to his commitment to the diocese’s infrastructural development and his desire to see these important projects completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
